Group 1 or group 2

When I was young the word most used by others to describe me was wild. That was my category. We categorize people. We put them into groups. Like tall people. Short people. Redheads and blondes. Quiet people and noisy people. There are hundreds of categories. God sees two. Those who love him him and follow him. And those who don’t. We like to think we are pretty smart. God, however, who created all things has put us in only these two groups. Philippians 3:18-22 tells us, group 1 are enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is their destruction. Their god is their stomach. Their glory is their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. It says about group two that our citizenship is in heaven. We await a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that we will be like his glorious body.
Group one is headed for destruction while group two is headed for glory. Now the groups that humans talk about are just observations about how we are made or act. Like me. I’m a wild one. Just a fact . Not much I can change about that. If your a redhead you can color your hair but your still a redhead. But Gods two groups are a choice. You can trust in Christ and his work on the cross and believe in the resurrection or you can chose your own way that leads to eternal destruction. You get to chose. Why does a wild child like me chose Christ? Because I know I’m messed up. I know I can’t save myself. I don’t want to be in this shell of a human body forever. I want to be like Jesus!! My choice. You have the same choice. What will it be?? Thank you Father for giving us your son Jesus so we can be forgiven and one day have an indestructible body!!
Chose well my friends!! It’s an eternal decision!!
