Who then can he saved?

I’m about to tell you about a personal sin I have. I’m telling you in hopes that if you too have this sin then maybe together we can overcome it. I have this bad habit of observing a persons life and deciding whether or not to talk to them about Jesus. I’ll say to myself,” this person has always been this way or that and they don’t want to hear about Jesus.” That is terrible!! It’s like saying that Jesus can’t possibly save that person!! Who am I to say that!! I’m just a sinner myself. Nothing anyone else has done is any worse than me. The truth is we all fall short. We all are hopeless. But Jesus came and gave his life for such as us. In Luke 18: 18-30 Jesus tells about a rich man who asked him how to get to heaven. After telling him to sell all that he had and follow him the man went away sad. Jesus said it was as hard for the rich to get into heaven as it is for a camel to enter the eye of a needle. Those listening asked “how then can anyone be saved?” Listen to what Jesus says to them. He said “ what is impossible with man is possible with God!”
We have no way of knowing what’s in the heart of another person. How God is working in their lives! He told us who have been saved his grace to share the good news with others. He didn’t say to pick and chose who we think are worthy candidates. Only he knows the heart. I’m so wrong for ever assuming that I could tell if someone would except the truth of Jesus or reject it. That is Gods business!! My friends in Christ, will you join me in the battle against this prideful behavior and let’s pray for each other to be willing to share the good news of Jesus’ salvation to all we meet? Dear Jesus, I have sinned in my arrogance. Forgive me and others like me who have assumed we know who will accept you and who will reject you!! Help us to be open to share your great love with whoever you place in our lives and leave the saving to you, the only one who has made it possible!! Amen. Amen. Amen!!
Much love y’all
