For a long time I have had a few things that I’ve wanted to do but instead of just doing them, I say to myself that I’m too busy right now. I’ll do it one of these days when things slow down. Will I? Will I live to see that day? Will you live to see the day that you can do “that thing”. Listen, none of us know the day that is our last day. If God is pressing something on our hearts to do, then why do we wait? In Psalm 90:12 the author writes: teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Gain a heart of wisdom. If we were to wake up every day, and appreciate that God allowed us to be here another day, and out of appreciation we would do what he wants us to do first, before we do anything else, and as we do everything else, as if it were our last day, then I think we would be starting to gain that heart of wisdom. If we put off doing good, that is just as much a sin as doing something we know is wrong! Dear Lord, teach us to number our days. Help us to gain a heart of wisdom and to do your work with vigor as though today was our last!!
Have a great day!! Much love to you my friends!!
