To so many people, today is just another holiday. They observe it with family traditions and give little thought to the meaning of the day. That isn’t a surprise really. Many people go through life without giving God a single thought. The idea of God, being unseeable, yet all powerful and loving is ridiculous to them. 1Corinthians 1:18 says: For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are parishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God!
If your one who is being saved, take some time to really think about what Jesus did for you and what today really means. Today He arose from the dead!! That is power!! Also, remember that we once were among those who were parishing. We must make it our priority to share the message of the cross and resurrection to all those we meet. Our souls have been saved and one day soon we too will be resurrected to life everlasting. That is the power we known. The power of the love of God!!! Thank you God for not staying in the grave. Thank you for loving us enough to go there in the first place!!
