Truth. Absolute truth, is so dividing. You could speak it so kindly and ever so careful, like lightly buttering toast, and to the one who doesn’t like it, it’s hateful. If , however you are speaking to one who loves it, you can dump it on them like a 2 year old dumps ketchup on a hot dog and they would gobble it up and ask for more. As for myself, I do believe in truth. God’s truth. He is the truth. I also believe that we are to share the good news of Jesus to others. Sometimes we will be rejected and called names because of it. Sometimes we may even face much worse. There is no love in keeping Jesus to ourselves. The only way to love is to give it to others. That means speaking truth, even
to those who reject it, but always being kind and gentle and without pride but instead with great humility just as Jesus did when he washed the feet of his disciples. Don’t you remember that he even washed the feet of Judas who would betray him ? This is love! This is how to share the truth! My friends, Jesus gave his life for us and then took it up again.
