Revival

There’s a revival going on. It’s not planned or staged. It’s really simple. People have been humble before the Lord. They are confessing their sins, praising and worshipping without shame. They have welcomed the love of Jesus into their hearts and he has shown up. James 4:7-10 Submit yourselves to the Lord. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up.
These verses seem negative at a glance but what they are saying is to weep over our sin. To be humble and recognize our need for salvation. Our need for Jesus! If we do this, he will come. This is what is happening in Kentucky and other places too. Let’s pray together that it will happen all across America. Let’s worship God unashamed! When we draw near to God he comes near to us!
Lord we pray for revival in our towns, cities, homes and families! Come Lord and do not pass us by!
