He’s here!

Have you ever given deep thought into the fact that the God who created the cosmos is with you wherever you go? If we gave this fact some real meditation, would we still have fear, worry, discouragement and anxiety? Think about it. When we fear and worry about things, it’s like saying: Yeah God I get it. Your with me. The Bible says so. But. But I. But we. But but but. So what we are really saying is that either we don’t trust that he is with us or that we are still relying on ourselves and have realized that we don’t have what it takes to do whatever it is that is causing us to fret. And we don’t!! Like it or not, we are not able to deal with everything that life gives us. Joshua was about to take a nation of rag tag wanderers into a foreign land for of giant warriors and take over the place. Ha! Yeah right! Moses told him in Joshua 1:9 to be strong and courageous. Do not fear, and do not be discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua believed this truth. He went and whooped up on some folks! God was with him! Jesus came here and experienced life on earth and death on a cross and then beat death. Death! He is with us. One of his names, Emanuel, literally means God with us! My friends, we need to realize we can’t and he can. We need to believe and trust that he is with us and he cares about us even more than we do! Thank you Lord for going where we go. For working things out for our good even when we don’t see it at the time!!
